Great Lakes Skydock 1 Great Lakes Skydock was built on a rich asteroid closer to the poles for better solar array coverage and in a stable freefall orbit for easy construction and safe docking. Unlike New Chicago Station, this facility was built with a clear plan and design structure, with a docking arm, refinery / mechanical block, and a habitation block.
